Heifer International South Africa’s mission is in partnership with others to promote community development, food security and environmental regeneration through sharing, caring and passing on the gift.

Heifer International South Africa is a non profit community development organization which exists to assist families and communities to produce food and income for themselves using agricultural interventions, particularly animals and crops. So far Heifer has helped over 40 million people throughout the world. Heifer International South Africa was established in 1999. We have assisted over 2000 households in communities where there was little hope, with high levels of unemployment and malnutrition, and a degraded environment.
