RedR (Register of Engineers for Disaster Relief) is an international not-for-profit organisation helping rebuild lives in times of disaster by training, supporting and providing aid workers to disaster relief programmes throughout the world. RedR NZ courses, which are a mandatory part of applying to join the standby register, are open to people with a wide range of skills including: logistics, engineering, emergency management, security, administration, accounting, child protection, health, law, quantity surveying, public information, information technology and telecommunications.
