To conserve New Zealand's icon, the kiwi.
More information
The New Zealand Conservation Trust is involved in the conservation of New Zealand's icon - the kiwi. The NZCT is also actively involved in the breeding and conservation of a variety of New Zealand wildlife. We offer a range of educational opportunities based around conservation and environmental issues. Currently the New Zealand Conservation Trust is involved in breeding several species of kiwi. Our breeding program is run with the ongoing and invaluable support of Willowbank Wildlife Reserve and we operate the most successful captive kiwi breeding program in the world.
