New Pacific Studio is an international charitable organization registered that seeks to promote the creativity of people of all ages through a variety of innovative public programs in New Zealand and California. NPS was launched in Berkeley, California, in September 2000. It continues and expands on the collaborative interdisciplinary work of the Pacific Bridges Project, sponsored by the University of California. We run a Residency Program for artists, writers and environmentalists in our 'hermitage' at NPS Mount Bruce, New Zealand and also at the Pacific Writers' Cottage, Vallejo, Ca.
