Since 1990 Great Potentials Foundation has developed and introduced initiatives to address family dysfunction and disparities in education. New Zealand’s high rates of child abuse and neglect - among the highest in the OECD - are a national shame. Similarly, this country has the greatest gap between high and low achievers in education in the OECD. Our principles are to be solution focused, working for positive change and acting early and cost-effectively to prevent later high cost negative spending resulting from educational failure, violence and crime.
