Borderline Books collects overstocks and slightly damaged copies from publishers, bookshops and importers and second hand books from libraries and redistributes them free of charge to those who need them. Some publishers donate the reading copies of recent publications in various languages which they have considered for translation. We support refugees newly settled in European towns and cities or living in detention centres or in limbo on the borderline between rejection and deportation. We provide large quantities of books for the women and children survivors of domestic violence and do our best to support organizations working with the homeless.
