Founded in 1958, we are a registered charity and the leading conservation organisation covering the whole of Kent and Medway and dedicated to protecting wildlife and their habitats for everyone to enjoy. Our Reserves Team takes care of 60 strategically important nature reserves covering some 3,000 hectares of land. Each reserve is a special place for wildlife. Staff and volunteers work tirelessly year-round to ensure that these precious sites are maintained. Our People and Wildlife Team reaches out to children and adults across he county, sharing wildlife knowledge through exciting activities in schools and at our five visitor centres and nature reserves.
