Some children are said to have speech, language and communication needs or SLCN. One in ten children has severe difficulties and needs long term support. If these children are not identified and supported, they can become frustrated and angry. They can misbehave in school, which in turn can lead to social exclusion and a life on the margins of society. With the right help, children with SLCN can thrive and reach their full potential. I CAN is here to ensure that no child is left out or left behind because of a difficulty speaking or understanding.
