Most suicides are the result of mental illness, and mental illness is treatable. However, less than 20% of our youth who are mentally ill get the proper treatment. With one in five children having a mental health problem we need to dramatically improve how we are handling this issue. We help raise awareness of adolescent and teen suicide issues through programs, activities, and information. Our focus is on how physical activity, such as running, exercise and sports can often reduce depression and improve mental health in young people. Physical health for mental health.
