Ageing and Alzheimer's Research Foundation (AARF) is a Division of the Medical Foundation of The University of Sydney, which raises funds to support research at the Centre for Education and Research on Ageing (CERA). CERA is a multidisciplinary Research Centre that aims to expand and share knowledge of human ageing, so that the health and quality of life of older people can be improved. CERA is a joint Centre of the University of Sydney and Concord Hospital. AARF supports research by members of CERA into the phenomena of ageing and disorders of ageing such as dementia and falls from the medical, biological, psychological, sociological and epidemiological points of view. We also promote ageing in the broader community and provide advocacy for the needs of older people
