What started as a small hospital in the nation's capital has grown to an internationally recognized leader in pediatric medicine with world-class facilities, physicians, and researchers. In addition to being a destination for children throughout the world, Children's National also provides about $50 million in uncompensated care each year for kids whose families cannot afford to pay.
