We are currently in the process of establishing a Tennis Academy in New Zealand where it is free for our children to learn and play the beautiful game of Tennis. Our objective is to reach NZD $800,000 by 2012, then we can launch our charity based Academy, and the children can begin playing. Ideally the funds would be used to purchase 2 outdoor tennis courts with a small clubhouse, with the remaining money to be invested into resources and marketing. The funds will be sourced from donations, charity auctions and "playing sessions" with the Director, Peter Grant. Playing sessions are for adults or children which last for one hour and cost NZD $100. Playing sessions are a combination of coaching and semi-competitive playing, one of the best ways to learn the game. These sessions are suitable for people who have an understanding of the game and want to improve on their ground strokes or shot making. All proceeds will be held in the Academy’s account with the vision of reaching our target before December 2012. Playing sessions can be arranged by contacting the director via email Peter Grant, also if you have a tournament coming up and need a hitting partner, Peter would be happy to help out for a small donation towards the charity.
