The promotion and protection of human health is the basis of every commercial and social advance. By promoting the development, improvement, and long-term security of primary health care, SolidarMed has a significant share in empowering even people in the poorest countries of Africa to exercise their right to health and in making health become operative as a developmental factor. We offer comprehensive health programmes combating Aids, Cholera, Malaria etc., we help hospitals development, we strengthen the management of the health system there where it's needed. We promote the continuing education and training of personnel while supporting local initiatives in health promotion and prevention. SolidarMed emphasises sustainability in its work and therefore intentionally refrains from building its own institutions. The goal is improve the performance of the local partners such that they can offer the best possible primary care at the smallest possible financial expense.
