More information
Canada World Youth (CWY) is a world leader in the development of international educational programs for youth aged 15 to 25. We work with countries in Africa, Latin America, Asia, the Caribbean, and Eastern Europe. Since 1971, the CWY program has made it possible for more than 31 000 young people from 67 countries to have safe and meaningful international experiences, learn about other cultures, and contribute to the well-being of their own communities. We believe that everyone is capable of learning and changing and that people of different backgrounds and cultures can learn to understand and respect one another. CWY is one of the few organizations in the world that offers a two-part program, with one phase in Canada and the other in another country. This is one of the most original aspects of the CWY model because it provides a perspective on how people live in both countries and fosters true dialogue between partners in the South and in the North. All CWY projects are supervised by highly qualified professionals who provide volunteers with a safe, unique, and enriching experience.
