Scouting is an active and challenging way for kids and young people to spend their time in nature. They have lots of fun, and learn to work together and to respect each other. This way, kids and young adults have the chance to develop naturally into independent people, who have enough space to explore and to learn. Scouting Nederland is the largest youth organisation in the Netherlands and has 112,000 members. The 87,000 youth members and the 25,000 volunteers are spread over more than 1,100 Scout groups. There are twenty Label campsites where you can camp ‘the Scout’s way’. We have a number of camping grounds and buildings that are for rent. Scouting the Netherlands also organises a large number of international events every year.
