The Glassco Foundation received its charitable status in 1996. Our mandate is to seek out children's issues in Canada and overseas, mainly Zambia, provide financial and organizational assistance as well as on site support. As the administration expenses of the Foundation are covered by a special donation 100% of all outside donations go directly to the children. We are one of the founding sponsors of the organization that every year flies 135 Children who are chronically ill and/or mentally, physically, and emotionally challenged to Disneyland for a very exciting day. The Glassco Foundation provides funding for the organization that provides inner-city children with much needed lunches during the summer months when the school programs have stopped for the summer. In Zambia our program examines, medicates, educates the children, performs surgeries as required and provides clean water for them and their families.
