Our primary focus is the educational success of young Quebecers, enabling them to become independent, fulfilled parents who will be able to create a culture of personal and collective success within their family and social circle. A recent study has shown that there is a definite link between having a high-school diploma and the health and well-being of the Quebec population. We believe that taking action early on—helping children develop healthy lifestyles—is the key to educational success and good health. Our intervention strategy consists in mobilizing local communities and raising society awareness. We promote the optimal development (physical, psychological, cognitive and social)
of children from conception to age 17, we carry out early, sustained interventions to make sure children get off to a good start at school with healthy lifestyles in terms of nutrition and physical activity.
