More information
Animal Aid Foundation is a volunteer-based, charitable fundraising organization. The Foundation does not have paid staff and does not receive government funding. It relies on volunteer contributions, public donations and corporate support. Animal overpopulation, caused by pets that are left un-spayed and un-neutered as well as puppy mills, has created a crisis in our community. Our streets and alleys are home to hundreds of unwanted cats. And thousands of unwanted cats and dogs are sitting in shelters waiting to be adopted. Over-breeding results in homeless animals being confined to cages or euthanized simply because there is not enough room for them all. Animal Aid Foundation provides grants to financially support the projects and activities of local animal charities. Priority areas of interest are spay/neuter, veterinary medical care, adoption and public education programs.
