To improve medical services to children in developing countries.

Kind Cuts for Kids is a volunteer organisation. Our aim is to improve medical services to children in developing countries. The team consists of a group of medical personnel, viz paediatric surgeon, paediatric radiologist, anaesthetist and nursing staff, in conjunction with the organisational members of the committee. Since 1993 we have worked in association with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons to help provide outreach care to countries in need of surgical/medical services. We aim to advance health care by education, demonstration and skill transfer to the local health care professionals whikle helping remedy the current deficiencies in the health care infrastructure by identifying the areas of need in terms of knowledge, finances, equipment, and manpower and by proposing workable solutions appropriate to the country.
