Diabetes Australia-NSW is Australia’s largest charity organisation for people with diabetes and we rely heavily on the generosity of a caring community to continue our vital work. Our core business is the management, detection and prevention of diabetes. Diabetes Australia-NSW is non-political and receives a small annual grant from State Government. Diabetes Australia-NSW runs a variety of lifestyle programs to help keep Australians from all walks of life healthy. Diabetes Australia-NSW regularly reviews and initiates strategies to ensure that all people affected by diabetes have access to comprehensive diabetes education and support. We value the vital role of the health care team in helping people manage their diabetes. We aim to provide health professionals with encouragement and support in their role as important sources of information, motivation and support for their clients.
