Established in 2004, Children’s Hospital Foundations Australia is a partnership of Australia’s five leading children’s hospital foundations. Foundations are the fundraising bodies directly attached to each of our children’s hospitals. They are established to engage business and community support and raise much needed funds for sick and injured children. Children’s hospitals have independently played a vital role in our state communities for over a hundred years. Our work is respected and appreciated by several generations of children and families. Our first partner hospital began in 1870 and our first community foundation was formally established in 1985. With a long and treasured tradition of excellence in children’s health care, between our five partner hospitals we service each state and territory across Australia and Asia Pacific.
