The Asthma Foundation of Queensland has been providing services to people with asthma for over 40 years. Our vision and values are based on an absolute commitment to nearly 500,000 Queenslanders with asthma, their families and carers. Every day the Asthma Education Hotline links people with our trained asthma educators who give free asthma information and non-diagnostic advice, as well as information packages tailored to each individual’s needs. Each year the Asthma Foundation of Queensland conducts a number of asthma education programs and asthma workshops for all ages. Specialised information is available for schools, workplaces and healthcare professionals. We also fund research projects to help find a cure for asthma, improve asthma treatment or provide better asthma management techniques
