I CARE is a self-development and a community service oriented Organization. We think individuals can make a big difference & help benefit society at large. We believe in serving people irrespective of man-made prejudices of religion, cast, color, gender & Nationality. Our current thrust is on trying to eradicate curable blindness (due to Cataract) from the rural poor and reach medical facilities for the same to people who otherwise would not have access / would not be able to afford the same. Our Strength is our members coming from occupations as diverse As CAs, Business Enterpreneurs, Teachers, MBAs, IT etc. It is these people who make our activities a possibilities and a success. They are all volunteers, giving their time, energy and money to things they think are important. Our eye camps are conducted in different districts of Maharashtra, mostly at the rural areas where the frequency of Cataract disease is more.
