The American Tinnitus Association exists to cure tinnitus through the development of resources that advance tinnitus research.

Tinnitus is the perception of sound in the ears or head where no external source is present. Some call it "ringing in the ears" or "head noise." ATA (American Tinnitus Association) is dedicated to finding and funding the best and brightest tinnitus researchers to speed up our progress toward finding a cure for tinnitus. It is the nation’s largest association of individual contributors that awards grants for tinnitus research.
