Our charity was founded in the mid nineties, amidst humble beginings in a small suburban semi and has since grown to become one of the most highly respected animal welfare organizations in the region. Our core activity remains the provision of care, treatment and rehabilitation for almost 4000 sick, injured and orphaned wild animals every year. Most of our smaller patients such as birds, hedgehogs and squirrels arrive via members of the public in a cardboard box and our hospital is open to receive such cases every day of the year. We also provide a range of services for domestic animals including attendance at serious incidents where no owner is present, responding to urgent situations involving stray or abandoned animals and provision of assistance to the emergency services in the event of a major incident or disaster.
