Medical Aid for Palestinians works for the health and dignity of Palestinians living under occupation and as refugees. With offices located in Beirut, Ramallah and Gaza City, MAP responds rapidly in times of crisis, and works directly with communities in the longer term on health development.

MAP sends teams of doctors and specialist health professionals from the UK to the Middle East to work in partnership with Palestinian hospital staff and communities to build sustainable capacity for the future. We deliver health and medical care to the Palestinians worst affected by conflict, occupation and displacement. Today, MAP is able to reach the most vulnerable and ensure they are receiving the best healthcare available in such hostile and difficult conditions. MAP has developed special support programmes for children to help them to cope and live a normal childhood. We have developed innovative community health programmes in Lebanon which provide nutritional education to mothers in the refugee camps and we distribute healthy food during the critical early years of childhood to families in Gaza.
