Launched in 1998, Just a Drop continues to receive considerable support from worldwide travel & tourism companies whilst also increasingly now from other business sectors. In our 11 years to date we have undertaken over 65 water aid projects and helped over 1 million children and their families in 29 countries. Just a Drop raises money to build wells, install boreholes and hand pumps, and carry out sanitation and health education programmes in some of the poorest parts of the developing world. Rather than taking a global perspective on the issue, we look at the local picture to establish how we can achieve maximum impact at ground level. This means working directly with other charities, local partners and communities. We believe that a good plan today is better than a perfect plan tomorrow. After all, if it is a case of saving lives there’s no time for unnecessary delays.
