To provide orphans and abandoned children with a safe and loving environment from which they can actively explore possibilities for their lives and realise their own personal potential, through the practical help provided in the basic necessities of life – food, home, "family" and education.

The objectives for which STOP is established are: the relief of poverty, sickness and distress of orphans and abandoned children, resulting from the effects of war, famine or any other natural or man-made disaster anywhere in the world and to advance the education of orphans and abandoned children until 16 years old.
