More information
The centre was set up 20 years ago by Fr. Liam Hayes, of Co. Limerick, Ireland. It was in response to the subhuman conditions of the poor and disabled people who were trying to survive. Today there are over 30 staff members supporting over 100 residents, 365 days a year, 24 hours a day. The foundation consists of St Teresa’s – the home for people with severe disabilities, and Our Lady of Lujan – a home for elderly and abandoned citizens.
