More information
The Whitgift Foundation is a local charity based in Croydon and founded in 1596 to provide education for the young and care for the elderly. Our mission in the twenty-first century remains committed to both these central aims; to broaden access to the three Foundation schools for talented young people, particularly through the provision of significant financial assistance, and to promote the range of welfare options and provide high quality care homes and sheltered accommodation to the elderly in the town of Croydon and the surrounding area. The Whitgift Foundation has also established The Carers' Information Service as a provider of information, advice, support and training to carers of those who need help due to frailty, illness or disability.
