To raise awareness, educate and promote the need for recycling within the counties of Monmouthshire and Blaenau Gwent.

Homemakers Community Recycling is a community based social enterprise that aims to help reduce landfill within the counties of Monmouthshire and Blaenau Gwent by collecting unwanted furniture and other household items through it's bulky collection and house clearance services. Homemakers hopes to recycle or re-use as much as possible through it's work. Homemakers is an educational non for profit organisation, run by staff and volunteers from all walks of life, and is part of both Monmouthshire County Councils' and Blaenau Gwent County Borough Councils' Waste Strategies.
