To support Education for Deaf children and reducing poverty, hunger and isolation among Deaf people, especially Deaf women and girls.

The Deaf Education Africa Foundation (D.E.A.F) is a small UK based registered charity working with Deaf people in developing Central African countries. We support the many Deaf children and Deaf women and girls, in the Democratic Republic of Congo, who are denied opportunities to get basic education and gain suitable employment. This is because of their invisible disability and those communication barriers which leave almost all Deaf people, without a means to support themselves, and to stand on their own financially.
