SIFT is a Christian charity based in the UK committed to helping the poor of Nicaragua, Central America. Nicaragua is one of the poorest nations in the Americas and has suffered from both natural disasters and civil war (1979 – 1989). We have been working in Nicaragua since 2000 (becoming a registered charity in 2002), helping the young population of Nicaragua to find their own way out of poverty.
