More information
Established as a registered charity in 1962, the Devon Wildlife Trust has a unique and influential position. Unique because it is the only organisation concerned with all aspects of wildlife conservation in Devon. Influential because it is a member of The Wildlife Trusts partnership, a nationwide network dedicated to the achievement of a UK richer in wildlife. Between us we have more than a quarter of a million members and care for over 2,000 nature reserves. DWT works closely with many other organisations, including neighbouring Cornwall Wildlife Trust, Dorset Wildlife Trust, and Somerset Wildlife Trust. Around 50 full-time staff, mainly based at Cricklepit Mill in Exeter, work in a range of areas to achieve our common aim for wildlife.
