Our Mission at Wild for Life is to provide qualified, professional care, housing and nutrition to injured and orphaned wildlife until they can be returned to their native wild habitats; as well as, educate the public regarding native wildlife, wildlife habitats, conservation and preservation of the precious environment we share.

Wild for Life: Center for Rehabilitation of Wildlife, Inc. was founded out of love for wildlife and respect for the environment. Incorporated in 1999, we are a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization, located in Asheville, North Carolina. Wild for Life is the only established wildlife rehabilitation 501(c) 3 organization within a 50 mile radius of Asheville. Wild for Life provides medical, nutritional, and supportive care to wild animals that have been injured or orphaned. Our goal is to rehabilitate animals and return them back to their native habitats. We provide educational programs, internship opportunities, and a great place for groups or individuals to complete service learning projects.
