We give out small sums of money to young people who we believe in - who we trust - and who we are genuinely inspired by. These young people have one thing in common - they're fighting to conquer HIV and AIDS in their local communities in the most creative and innovative ways. The Foundation gives out grants twice a year - each grant is a maximum of $12,000. The first round is given on June 1st and the second round on December 1st. The grants are for projects that last up to twelve months and grant winners must be under the age of 27 in order to apply. Applicants do not need to work for an organization, but do require to be partnered with a non-for-profit organization. There are endless creative ways we can raise funds for Staying Alive. The Foundation's different assets can be tapped into to produce compelling campaigns around a variety of issues around HIV/AIDS.
