Our purpose is to drive the changes that will make our society the first in which disabled people are able to realise their full civil liberties and human rights.

Our vision is a world where disabled people have the same opportunities to fulfil their life ambitions as non-disabled people. Scope's services focus on four main areas where disabled people face the greatest inequality: early years, education, independent living and work. We also provide local support services which respond to the needs identified by disabled people in their communities.
