Our mission is to prevent and cure diabetes and to improve the lives of all people affected by diabetes.

We lead the fight against the deadly consequences of diabetes and fight for those affected – by diabetes. We fund research to prevent, cure and manage diabetes, deliver services to hundreds of communities, provide objective and credible information and give voice to those denied their rights because of diabetes. We are offering programs and networking opportunities for children with diabetes and their families such as ADA Diabetes Camp and PlanetD – an online community where youth explore, discover, and connect with other youth who have diabetes. We are fighting to end discrimination against people with diabetes and advocating for increased federal funding for diabetes research.
