The mission of Mandat International is to promote international dialogue and cooperation; to welcome, inform and facilitate the participation in international conferences; to support and provide budget accommodation to delegates from developing countries.

We work on issues such as NGO - UN cooperation, development, human rights, peace, humanitarian, health, refugees, children, indigenous peoples, trade and the environment among others. The Welcome Centre for Non-governmental Organizations and Delegations, located at Valavran (in the Commune of Bellevue, Geneva) was opened in 1997 thanks to many volunteers. It provides budget accommodation and support to non-governmental representatives and delegates from developing countries, in order to enable them to participate in international conferences. It is a place where delegates from all around the World can meet and share information and ideas. Priority is given to delegates from the Least Developed Countries (LDC) and to representatives of the Indigenous Peoples.
