Kurdistan Save the Children (KSC) is an independent, Kurdish, non-governmental organisation, working in Iraq and Iraqi Kurdistan. We are a registered charity in the UK and have an office in London under the name of Kurdistan Children's Fund. Due to the similarities in the name with the international Save the Children we had to work under a different name in the UK. The organisation was founded in 1991. Since then we have been working with children in various fields of child protection, sponsorship, health and education. Our main aim is to ensure a better future for all children through improving and providing their various physical, medical, social, economical and educational needs.
