More information
Stamford Center for the Arts (SCA), a not-for-profit cultural arts organization, dedicated to serving as the region's premier center for the performing arts. SCA enriches our area by developing and supporting works of artistic excellence, advancing learning in the arts, strengthening arts in our community, and contributing to the area's economic development. SCA owns and operates two facilities: the recently renovated and restored historic Palace Theatre at 61 Atlantic Street and the state-of-the-art Rich Forum just four blocks away at 307 Atlantic Street in downtown Stamford, Connecticut. In addition to a full season of cultural and entertainment events, The Palace Theatre is also home to the Connecticut Grand Opera & Orchestra, Stamford Symphony, Ballet School of Stamford and Stamford Young Artists Philharmonic. The Palace Theatre Stamford Center for the Arts believes that bringing the Performing Arts to young people is critical to their path to becoming well rounded, successful and contributing members of our society. In short, the Arts make better human beings who can enjoy and appreciate the beauty of the arts as well as participate in the creation of its various forms.
