ROLE Foundation was established in 2007 to protect all aspects of the environment in the Bukit peninsula of Bali, Indonesia. ROLE undertakes several environmental projects and programs throughout Indonesia. Our EcoPark education centre that will be completed in November 2016 will provide a great area for local communities to practice gardening, organic farming, nutrient enriching, and crop yielding. Our soap recycling program not only reduces waste by bleaching, cleaning, and reforming new soaps, but also acts as a local business for local women working with ROLE Foundation. Off campus projects include recycling, beach cleaning, reforestation, shipwreck cleaning, and village planning. We have also trained 31 Environmental Ambassadors and sent them back into their home communities. Through our new educational EcoPark we will show children the ways in which waste can be reused and become something useful again in a program we call waste-to-wonder.

Our offer

Currently the ROLE Foundation is constructing a 1300m EcoPark. Once completed in November 2016, ROLE Foundation will use this park as a learning and demonstration centre to teach children, local businesses, and government officials about how to live more sustainably through interactive park tours.
