READS’ Vision is Empowerment of people in remote villages to access community facilities and exercise their rights.

READS – Rural Education And Development Society is working among SC/ST population, targeted groups in HIV interventions, women self help groups and micro financing. In all these programs, the population belongs to youth in the age group of 18 – 30 years. Most of them are migrants, less educated and drop outs from school for various reasons. Our contacts and communications as well as program activities are with the community structures like self help groups, support groups and ICDS based working groups. As these are non school or out of school community structures, READS has well linked with them through its program activities.
