Rapid Response is a registered non-profit organization based in Chennai, Tamilandu, India. As a disaster relief agency, we help people to survive and rebuild their lives through our food, medical, shelter, education and livelihood programs. Powerful Monsoon and 60 hours of continuous heavy rain with cloud burst devastated five districts in northern hill state of Uttarakhand. It is estimated that over 10,000 people have killed and several thousand are still missing. Around 100,000 people are badly affected and immense damage has taken place to their houses, animals and livelihood. We need your help to support the people affected.
