Kilimanjaro Children's Project (KCP) is a grassroots organization established in June 2012 by Christine Dunn. Inspired by her volunteer trip to Tanzania, she knew there was no way she could come back to the USA and ignore the need she left behind. Shortly after her return, she founded KCP and established nonprofit 501(c)3 status under the Earth Rights Institute. Partnering with Frank Mbise in Moshi, Tanzania, the first project KCP is committed to is starting a school for orphans and vulnerable children, providing education, food and loving care where they can feel safe to just be kids!
