OLAM is a registered charitable organization under the laws of Ghana. Its offices are located in Accra and Navrongo in the Upper East Region of Northern Ghana. OLAM aims and objectives are working towards sustainable poverty reduction, community development and networking for the betterment of humanity. OUR LADY OF MERCY COMMUNITY SERVICES is a registered not-for profit, voluntary development organisation under the laws of Ghana. It is registered with the Registrar General Department and as a charity with the Social Welfare Department with registartion number D. S. W / 2982. Its location is in Accra and the Northern Regions with much concentration in and around Northern Ghana. The Organisation exist to offer opportunities to orphans, HIV/AIDS victims,school dropouts and the underprivileged youth within the Greater Accra, Northern and Upper Regions of Ghana. To Empower women, especially rural women by providing them with self employment opportunities and campaigns on their rights as women. To undertake community development and environmental programs that seek to fight poverty and to improve upon the natural environment in the Upper East Region and other parts of Ghana. Advocacy on prevention and diseases control, Nutrition, Health Education, Family planning and Reproductive Health Services.We also undertake skills, Enterpreneurship Development programmes, micro finance schemes, sporting and cultural activities as a means of promoting peace and women empowerment.
