Challenge Trust was founded in 1993 under the Charitable Trust Act 1957 and became an incorporated Charitable Trust in 1994. Today it has grown into an organisation with 228 people, operating out of 20 sites, while providing services to in excess of 1,500 people. Services provided include 24 hour residential accommodation, community support to people living in their own homes, educational services, employment and life skills training, advocacy, information, employment opportunities, family support and various housing options. Challenge Trust’s clients include people affected by mental illness, physical disability, intellectual disability, addictions, dual disability and dual diagnosis.
