We are a nonprofit organization of 353 individuals dedicated to the idea that art and museums can transform lives. By embracing the challenge of the new and unexpected, we hope to encourage fresh ways of seeing, thinking, and engaging with the world. SFMOMA has a long history of excellence in exhibiting and collecting the foremost artists and designers of our time. But we also strive continuously to expand the range of cultural experiences we offer, and to provide as many ways as possible to make the art meaningful and accessible for our community.
