The Three Faiths Forum was founded in London in 1997 by Sir Sigmund Sternberg, Revd. Dr Marcus Braybrooke and Sheikh Dr Mohamed Aboulkhair Zaki Badawi. The Forum was not set up as a religious organisation, but brought together, represented and supported people from the three faiths as it does today. The Three Faiths Forum has focused on improving understanding between the Muslim, Christian and Jewish communities and their engagement with wider society. This has been done on a national level in the UK, engaging the leaders of the three communities through seminars and event planning, and at the grass-roots level in developing local and professional groups.
