Bowel Cancer UK helps to increase knowledge and understanding of the symptoms and prevention of bowel cancer through awareness campaigns. We also work in partnership with healthcare professionals to provide education about bowel cancer. The charity has close links with many colorectal cancer clinicians, oncologists, surgeons and nurse specialists, amongst others. We campaign for improved choice and equal access to bowel cancer treatment, services and best care. We provide information, support and advice for those affected by bowel cancer, including patients, their carers and families. Our information is also available to nurses and GPs, as well as to other healthcare professionals.
